Pupils from Friends’ Prep thoroughly enjoyed attending a Summer Scheme run by the school in August. A range of activities were on offer including football, rounders, kwik cricket, tennis, dodge ball, paper mache, beadwork and woodwork. Each week the children enjoyed a day trip midweek and a fun day on the final day of the week. At the fun day the children had their faces painted, watched a magic show, took part in a disco, had a visit from an ice cream van and were treated to a barbeque. Parents and pupils were delighted with the wide variety of opportunities on offer to the children and the Summer Scheme was deemed a huge success. Pupils can not wait to hear about next years plans!
